Referral Program Terms

1. Definitions

• "Referrer" (or "Sharer") means an existing Guac account holder who shares their referral code.
• "Referee" (or "Receiver") means a new Guac customer whose account is linked to a Referrer before the Referee completes their first order.
• "Referral Code" means the unique GUAC-prefixed code generated for each account.
• "Reward" means Guac Credit granted under these terms, or the instant discount described in Section 3.
• "Spend" means amounts actually charged to your payment method for purchases and wallet top-ups, excluding any Guac Credit applied and excluding refunded amounts.

2. Eligibility

• A Referee must be a new customer who has not previously completed a paid Guac order. A referral can only be linked before the Referee's first order.
• Opening a valid Referral Link saves the referral in the Referee's browser. When the Referee signs in, Guac may link it to the Referee's account automatically; the Referee may also enter the code manually before their first order.
• Each Referee may be attributed to only one Referrer. Once linked, the referral cannot be replaced by another referral code.
• A coupon code may coexist with referral attribution, but a coupon takes precedence over the instant discount in Section 3; the referral remains eligible for the credit path.
• You may not apply your own code, and you may not refer yourself using a second account.
• You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Rewards

For the Referee:

• If the Referee's first order is $10 or more, they receive $5 off that order immediately.
• If the Referee's first order is less than $10, they instead receive $5 in Guac Credit once their cumulative Spend reaches $5.
• A Referee receives the instant discount or the credit, but not both.

For the Referrer:

• The Referrer receives $5 in Guac Credit once their Referee has reached $5 of cumulative Spend. The Referrer is not required to make any purchase to earn this Reward.
• A Referee who does not reach $5 of Spend within 30 days after the referral is linked to their account is no longer eligible, and any pending Reward expires.

4. Guac Credit

• Rewards granted as Guac Credit are added to your wallet and can be spent on eSIM data, calls, and phone numbers.
• Guac Credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

5. Anti-Abuse and Fraud Prevention

The referral program is intended for genuine recommendations between different people. We may withhold, delay, or reverse Rewards, and may place a referral under review, where we detect or reasonably suspect abuse, including:

• Self-referral, including a Referrer and Referee who share the same payment card or device.
• Creating multiple accounts to claim Rewards, or other coordinated or automated activity.
• An unusual volume of referrals from a single account within a short period.

A referral placed under review remains active and may be released after we confirm it is genuine. We do not permanently deny Rewards without review.

6. Refunds and Clawbacks

If a Referee refunds a qualifying purchase within 14 days such that their cumulative Spend falls below $5, any Reward granted on that referral may be reversed, which may result in a negative Guac Credit balance until offset by future earnings. The instant discount in Section 3 is returned automatically as part of the refund.

7. Changes and Termination

We may change, suspend, or end the referral program, or modify these Referral Terms, at any time. We may also pause Reward payouts program-wide where necessary to protect the program’s integrity. Changes do not affect Rewards already finalized and not subject to clawback.

8. General

These Referral Terms are governed by the same law and dispute-resolution provisions as the Guac Terms of Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
